Refunds, Returns and Warranty

Warranty Repairs & Returns Policy.

You may return a product for refund or exchange (if due to our error) within 14 days of the order shipment date.

The order shipment date and order notification are provided to you by email.
All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorisation number (order number #) which you would have received upon placing your order online.

If we shipped you the wrong product, or it arrived defective or damaged.

Contact us within 14 days of the item’s order shipment date to arrange for the return of your purchase.
We will send a replacement or refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all
accessories, etc., where applicable.
Packaging is part of the complete item so has to be in perfect condition.

If you ordered the wrong item

We will exchange your goods for the correct item or if the item is not available we will refund you for your purchase (minus the delivery cost) within 14 days
of you returning the goods to us, provided the returned item(s) are received back in its original packaging and provided your purchase is in “as-new”
condition, and the purchased product was not noted as a clearance or non-returnable item.
When your return is received, you will be issued a refund (to the credit cardused to pay) for the merchandise only. Please note that you are responsible for
the cost of shipping the package back to us.

If the goods do not match their description.

If the goods do not in all material respects and characteristics correspond with their description on our website, you may return them to us at our expense
within 10 days of you having received them, in the original packaging. We shall refund to you the cost of the goods less the reasonable cost of repackaging
them, and we reserve our right to charge you a reasonable amount for use of the goods if the goods have been used.

Warranty Terms

The warranty is provided by GP Batteries and as such only products imported by ourselves, whether purchased via our website or from one of our stockists is covered by the warranty.

Proof of purchase which shows place and date of purchase is required for all warranty claims and will if necessary be verified with the stockist.  Your Warranty is only valid if goods have been paid for in full.

NB: All Warranty Stickers need to be intact.

 

Warranty Period:

·     
12 months, (24 months for consumers, 12 months for companies) all products excluding Godox Flash Tubes; Godox Batteries; Godox Modeling Lamps; GPB Camera Batteries and Lithium LiFePo4 and Power Banks

·       
14 Days – Godox Flash Tubes, Batteries and Modeling Lamps

·       
3 years – GPB Camera Batteries

·       
6 months Lithium LiFePo4 and Power Banks – subject to assessment

 

 What the warranty covers:

        Damage and defects resulting from reasons inherent in the sold device, provided the device has only been used on a non-professional basis, professional usage which displays as excessive use is not covered by warranty.

 

 The Warranty does not cover:

         Mechanical damage and defects caused by the user.

         Damage resulting from improper use or storage of the product, not in accordance with the user manual and safety regulations.

         Damage caused by external factors such as flooding with liquid, moisture, too high or too low temperatures, atmospheric discharges, chemical agents, and other factors beyond the Guarantor’s control.

         Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs and alterations.

         Damage resulting from natural wear and tear, such as: scratches, dirt, abrasions.

         Damage caused when powering Godox products using non-Godox external power supplies or generators.

         The warranty is not transferable when items are re-sold.

           Any product where the warranty sticker has been removed or damaged where applicable.

 

The customer will be charged with the costs of transport and assessment and diagnosis of the defect or fault if the product sent as part of the warranty claim is in fact functional or if its defects resulted from improper or overuse of the product.

Defects that occur during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge, as soon as possible; subject to the availability of spare parts; excluding the cost of any transport.

When sending the product for assessment and repair, the customer is obliged to send the product in properly secured packaging with protective packaging around the product so that there is no risk of damage to the product during transport. In the event of damage during transportation, the costs are borne by the customer. 

Godox SA (Pty) Ltd or GPB (Pty) Ltd are not responsible for financial losses and other civil law consequences caused by a defect in the product device (loss of profit, turnover, inability to conduct business).

The principle of Godox’s policy is to create products that meet all quality standards. Before introducing a product to the market, they are subject it to numerous tests and controls, thanks to ensure that the product will function flawlessly. Each product is covered by a guarantee and warranty in accordance with applicable law.

 

Returning a product for warranty assessment:

You may return the product to the store where it was purchased or to GPB – Golden Power Batteries / Godox SA – Google Maps whichever is more convenient for you.

OR

Email  sales@gpbatteries.co.za letting us know you have a Warranty Claim and we will reply with all the steps you need to follow.

How to package the parcel:

If the item is already in a box:

•             Make sure item/s can’t move around in the box.

•             Bubble wrap or scrunched up paper can be used as cushion/filler.

•             Wrap the box in a protective layer so that it can’t get scratched during transit, eg. do not hand couriers an unwrapped plastic protected box.

•             Mark the package as fragile.

If the item is not in a box:

•             Wrap the item/s individually with bubble wrap.

•             Place the bubble wrapped item/s inside a box, eg. shoe box.

•             Use bubble wrap or scrunched up paper as cushion/filler.

•             Mark the package as fragile.
